To Love or Not to Love, That is the Question.
August 19, 2006 - 11:57 p.m.

School. I love it yet, I hate it.

I love the people. I love being able to see Ann, David, Michelle, Nathaniel, Mykee, Lyndsea and Ruth every day. They always make me feel very happy. They’re such good people to see everyday.

I love Mitch, Eileen, and Marge. I love everything that they represent. The three of them represent my passion. I love interp. I love going places with the team. I love leaving school on Fridays. I love having somewhere to go when my day sucks or just whenever. I love spending just as many, if not more, waking hours in the library or in Mitch’s room than I do at home.

I love school supplies. I love the new notebooks, binders, pencils, pens, paper and erasers. They smell so fresh and clean. They look so new. I love looking at all of my new things and thinking of all the possibilities. I love picking out a binder for each class. I always have to look at the binder and then think of what class it reminds me of. The striped one is for Spanish IV, the argyle one for Government and so on.

Mrs. Loecker. I love that lady. I will miss her. Although she is not gone forever, she is forever missing from my schedule. I looked forward to seeing her name on my schedule each semester.

In the same way I love the people, I hate them. I hate having to see people who are drug addicts everyday. I hate having to interact with people I could care less about because they treat everyone like crap.

I am not looking forward to doing homework. I am not the fondest of this part of school as I am sure no one else is. Down with being forced to do things.

I’m afraid of Calc. RUN AWAY!!!!

I will miss people, too. Tina will be leaving again. I didn’t get to spend as much time with her as I would have liked to.

Where did the summer go? I used to have all the time in the world to see people and do all the things that I wanted to do. Things that I did get done on my list: see a sunrise, get a job, meet new people, turn 17, have a 1:00 curfew, go to the park, have a picnic, stay at BK after closing, go to Brookings. Things I have yet to do: have a slumber party (fortunately that will be taken care of tomorrow night), spend more time with my friends doing the most randomest things imaginable.

One of the worst and hardest things that I’m going to have to do with the start of school is not see Brady just about everyday. Tina and Joe were right. It was hard for them. Too bad for us that summer is the temporary time. At least for them their time apart was short. I think we might make it. I hope we do.

Good bye summer. Hello to a new beginning. Welcome senior year.
